Text about a Best Buy charge I never made

I got this text message from N.F.C.U saying "Did you attempt transaction for the amount of $325.53 at BestBuy? Reply (YES) or (NO) to protect your account." I didn't recognize the number, it was 1(805) 861-0296. I never got any other alerts from them before.

I did not make that purchase. I replied NO because I was worried someone got my card info. Then they kept sending me more texts asking the same thing over and over. I thought I was talking to my credit union but something felt off.

I ended up losing $1649.92 because of this. I feel so stupid. They made it seem like they were just trying to help me protect my account. I never should have replied to that text.
