Email saying I bought Norton for $487 when I didn't

I got an email from Norton confirming a purchase of $487. I never bought anything from Norton so I called the number in the email to contest the charge. The man told me he could help refund my money.

He had me give him access to my computer and a lot of strange things popped up. Then I had to put in the amount I needed refunded. I typed $487 but he said I actually took $4,887. He got really stressed and said if I didn't return the money he would get fired and I would be sued.

I ended up giving him $2,900 back through Bitcoin at a convenience store and the rest on three Apple gift cards.
