Call asking for my social security number and cards

I got a call from someone asking me for all my personal information. They wanted my name, my social security number, my ID, and my credit and bank cards. It was a phishing thing.

They said they needed all of it and it just didn't make sense to me. I didn't give them anything but I'm out $1000 from this whole situation.

I don't even have a company name to give you because they never said who they were with. Just wanted to warn people about this.

Call saying I would lose all my personal info

Someone called me and told me I was going to lose all my personal information if I did not use their services. They wanted $150 for it. I did not sign up for anything and I do not know who these people are. There was no company name given to me on the call.

I do not understand how they got my number or why they think I owe them anything. I just want this to stop.

They want way too much money and won't fix anything

I hired these people to do some work on my home. They quoted me one price and then demanded way more money than what was agreed on. It was exorbitantly inflated and made no sense.

They didn't even do the repairs properly. When I asked them to come back and fix the issues they just refused. I tried reaching out multiple times and got nowhere. I'm out $800 and the work is still not done right.

Emails about a job that never existed

I got emails about a job opportunity and it seemed real at first. They said I was hired and then asked me for my personal information. After that I never heard from them again.

I already submitted this before but I'm adding it again because nothing has changed. No one ever got back to me about it.

Ordered opal ring and earrings, got wrong gold

I ordered an opal ring and matching earrings in white gold. What I got was a ring with a very thin band, still white gold, but the quality was just poor. The earrings came set in yellow gold, not white gold like they were supposed to be.

I paid $50 for this. The earrings don't even match the ring now. It's not what I ordered at all.

They said they could give me a loan of $7500. But before that they wanted an installment payment of $109 first. That didn't make sense to me because why would I pay money to get a loan.

Credit card charged for pet items we never bought

Our credit card got charged for stuff from a pet company. We don't even have any pets. So none of this makes any sense to us. Call saying they were attorneys about a debt

I got a call from someone saying they were an attorney from a debt collection agency. They didn't say what company they were with. They just said they were attorneys and it was about a debt.

I asked them to send me something in writing but nothing ever came. No letter, no proof of the debt, nothing. They just kept calling.

I don't even know what this debt is supposed to be for. They wouldn't give me any details, just said I owed money and they were attorneys handling it. It felt like they were trying to scare me into paying something without any proof.

Paid for an item in January and still nothing

I bought an item back in January 2026 and I still haven't gotten it. It's been eight months now. I've tried reaching out to the company multiple times but they're avoiding me and won't respond.

Work from home job wanted me to send money first

I was looking for a work from home job and found one that said I could assemble products at home. They told me I had to prove I was serious by making purchases and sending money first. They said I would get a refund after I finished the tasks.

False teeth from online ad cannot be used for eating

I ordered false teeth online after seeing a commercial with people eating steak and corn on the cob. When the product came the top denture had no mouth roof. The box had a red warning saying keep away from children and do not chew or eat anything. Not for eating food. In the commercial it showed a roof on the top denture and they were twisting them because it is made out of silicone. What I got is hard plastic.

Cannot access money I invested plus gains

Casinos that won't pay out when you win

These casinos are taking people's money and if you win they will make up a reason to not pay you. This has happened to me 3 times with casinos like this and they are still being advertised and not investigated. I lost $50 to one of these. They just take your money and when it's time for them to pay up there's always some excuse. Nobody seems to be doing anything about it and they keep getting advertised like nothing is wrong.
