Data entry job offer that wanted gift cards for software
Then they wanted gift cards sent. NEVER FALL FOR THAT. They claim it's for software for your computer. So I went along with them. Then the nonsense starts. They reversed the payment and put me even more in debt. They reach out by email then to Teams. Then I got messaged on WhatsApp. Acting like they care... that changes when you start to question them. They were getting mad when I wouldn't run to the store for the darn cards. I bought visa cards and they claimed they didn't work in their system. I told them just use the gift cards to get what they needed.
Us jobseekers have to be diligent. Don't be embarrassed if they fool you. But please post to warn us.
