Depop seller took my son's money and closed his account

My 16 year old son found shoes on Depop from a seller named Nyere. He was going to buy them through Depop but at the last minute Nyere told him not to use Depop and just send the money through Cash App instead. So my son sent him $243.

He never got the shoes. Nyere closed his Depop account after that.

I have his phone number (716) 294-7418 and an address in Buffalo NY, 171 Linwood Ave Unit 5E, 14209. Not sure if that's even real. Just want to put this out there so other people don't let their kids get taken like this.
