Locksmith charged over a thousand after mom locked out
He wrote the invoice for $1,160 for less than an hour of work. It was my birthday and I started crying when he said the price was firm. I never was told it would be over $1,000. I would have told him to stop. He took $40 off which doesn't matter. I paid him through Venmo and later saw he wrote his name as "Ben" on the invoice but I sent the money to "Omer." This feels like complete daylight robbery. They preyed on me when I was at my lowest.
