Coolcove AC arrived broken and they only offered half back

I ordered the coolcove ac from their website onninest.com. When it got here, I could hear something loose rattling around inside it. It never fell out so I figured I'd just plug it in and see if it worked anyway. I turned it on the cool setting to try and lower the temp in the room.

After about 2 hours, the temperature didn't change at all. So I sent them an email asking for a return label and a refund. The email I got back said all they could do was give me 50% back. I called the customer service number (888) 814-2188 and got the same answer. I even mentioned the 1 year warranty but they just kept saying 50% back is all I get. So I'm out 128.96 dollars for a unit that doesn't even work.
