LinkedIn job turned into a task scam costing me $16,000
Turns out it was one of those task scams. I had to write fake reviews for products I never even used. Then every so often I'd get a "package" that required me to put in my own money to keep going. The packages just got bigger and bigger and I kept having to deposit more. I ended up losing $16,000 total. It just didn't feel right after a while but I had already put so much in.
