Calls about credit and debt relief that ended up costing us $4000

My wife and I had two things happen. First someone called saying they wanted to borrow money for a down payment using my credit, and that was in Dallas, Texas. Same thing happened with my wife but they wanted a line of credit through the bank.

Then someone called from Orlando Finance and said they could help us with our debt. They told us some of the debt we had, the companies were charging us too much interest by state law. It was so convincing we gave them $4000.00. They told us not to pay any of those bills and within a year our credit score would be higher than the 740 we were at.

After 6 months I lost contact. The numbers I had were not in service anymore.
