Email about checking packages that turned out shady

So they emailed me about a job and I signed up for everything. They told me I'd just be checking packages. I sent out a few before I really looked into it because people around me kept saying it sounded shady.

Now I'm just lost honestly. I didn't even know job scams were a thing. Smh this is messed up. I can't even pay my bills if they won't pay me. The email was [email protected] and the phone was 1(816) 787-0263. Address shows 2734 Cherry St, Kansas City, MO 64108.

Job offer wanted me to pay for training first

I got an email from this person, [email protected], about a job. They said I was hired and everything seemed fine at first. Then they told me I had to pay for my own training before I could start. That just didn't sit right with me.

They gave me an address in Kansas City, 2734 Cherry St, and a phone number (816) 955-3489. I never paid them anything, but it all felt off. I figured I should report it in case they try this on someone else.
