Job offer asked for my ID and then went quiet

I got contacted about a job, seemed like they wanted to hire me. They gave me a website to sign up on, paknextusa.com, and it all seemed okay at first. The person emailing me was [email protected].

Then they asked for my identification. Just my ID, nothing else, no money or anything like that. But it felt strange to send that over before I even had a real interview or a contract. I called the number they gave, (816) 354-8322, but it didn't really lead anywhere.

The address they had on the site was in Farley, MT. I just didn't feel right about it, so I stopped replying. They haven't tried to charge me anything, but I still felt like I should report it. It didn't make sense to need my ID that early in the process.

Repeated calls about a job asking for banking info

I kept getting calls from this number (816) 955-3489, like 6 or 7 times in under a minute. I didn't recognize the area code or the person. When I finally answered, the woman's English wasn't great but she was talking about some job opportunity. She asked me a few basic questions to see if I qualified, and right after that she sent me an employee contract form.

The form was asking for my personal info, my ID, my mailing address, and my bank account details. That didn't sit right with me. I saw they have a website, paknextusa.com, and an address on Cherry St in Kansas City, but the whole thing felt off. I didn't give them anything and I didn't lose any money, but I wanted to warn about this.
