Job interview email asking for licensing before we even talked
That's where I knew something was up. Those websites don't offer real certifications. I don't have a license, and they would know that from my Indeed profile. Any real business is going to pay for your license, not make you pay for it yourself. The websites looked legit on the surface but something felt off. They were acting like the job was already mine before the interview even happened, which probably was never going to happen. Just trying to get people to pay for these fake courses.
Fake job offer for a pharmaceutical sales rep position
The address they listed was just NC, USA which seemed really vague for a real company. I didn't lose any money but it was clearly a scam pretending to be a legit job offer. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else gets tricked.
Job offer from Pharmville led to a weird website
They sent me to this website paragontechusa.com and wanted me to contact [email protected]. The phone number they gave was (857) 626-4198. Something felt off about it.
I didn't lose any money but I'm pretty sure it's not a real job. Just wanted to report it so nobody else wastes their time.
Got a fake job offer from a company I never applied to
The whole thing was for an employment scam. I didn't lose any money, but it felt really off. I never signed up for anything with them or applied for a job there. It just wasn't a legitimate offer at all. Getting a random text like that is unsettling.
