Job offer asked for my bank info after venmo direct deposit
I gave them my venmo for direct deposit and then they said they couldn't issue a check for equipment unless I gave them my personal bank account info from a real banking institution. They said once I did that they could proceed with hiring.
I researched the equipment they wanted me to buy. The computer alone was at least $10,000. I'm pretty sure they send a fake check and then you're stuck with stolen equipment and a bounced check. The address they listed is in Huntsville, AL and the email was [email protected]. Just be careful because their paperwork looks very real.
