Letter about our mortgage from a company we don't use

I'm writing this for my husband and me. Our banker told us to file this complaint. We got a letter in the mail from this company, PNMAC, and they sent it to our address in Alabama. The thing is, our mortgage has not been sold to them. I'm on the title and the loan, so I would know. We have no business with this company at all.

We threw the first letter away, figured it was a mistake. Then we got another one saying we owed a late charge. That didn't make sense to me. We don't have any property in the other states they mentioned either, just our home here in Alabama. They listed a phone number (800) 777-4001 and an email [email protected] on the notices. I called our banker and they said to report this.
