Ordered flowers from Podunksbar, got a fake tracking number instead

I bought some artificial flowers online from a place called Podunksbar. Paid with my credit card. They emailed back saying they'd let me know when the flowers shipped. A week went by and I didn't hear anything, so I emailed them again.

They told me the order had been given to the shipping company and they'd check on it. I asked who was shipping it, and they said FedEx. I asked for a tracking number and they gave me one, but FedEx said it wasn't a real number. When I told them that, they just said the item was delivered. It definitely was not.

I told them I was going to report them. After that, I looked at other reviews and it seems like this is just what they do. It's a scam.
