Job offer email with no real interview

I got an email from someone named Lynita Collins at portexacouriers.com about a job. The email address was [email protected] and the website is portexacouriers.com. They gave a phone number too, (406) 290-6150, and said they were located in MT, USA.

The whole thing felt off. They were offering me a job but there was no real interview or anything. Just this email. I didn't lose any money, but it was a scam for sure. I just wanted to put this out there so nobody else gets pulled in.

Job interview asking for my ID and address

I applied for a cargo specialist job on Indeed and I can't even find the listing anymore now. They called me and asked some normal interview questions, which seemed fine at first.

Then I got an email from them asking for my name, my address, and a copy of my ID. That's when I got suspicious and realized this is one of those common scams. I didn't send them anything. Glad I caught it before giving out my info.
