Job interview led to paying for certification I didn't need

I got an email from them about scheduling an interview for a pharmaceutical sales rep job. It all seemed legit, they had a real website and everything. When I went to schedule the interview they said there was a mistake and I needed the PCS certification first.

So I paid for the CNPR certification course, it was $292. Then after I did that, nothing. No response to my emails, no phone calls returned. You just can't get ahold of any actual person there. The website is still up and their email is [email protected] but it's like they just disappeared. They even have a phone number listed (888) 983-7278 but nobody ever answers. I feel like I got tricked into buying that course for nothing.
