Paid them $3500 and now they won't answer my calls

I lost my husband not too long ago and had to sell some land we owned. I paid the taxes on it to both the IRS and the state of SC. I got letters from both of them saying I still owed money, even though I sent bank checks and they cleared. I was so panicked about it that I contacted Priority Tax Relief in Spokane, Washington. They told me they were helping me with the tax problem.

They won't answer my calls now. I've left so many voicemails. After a few weeks of nothing, they finally texted me saying they would call me at 12:30 pm one day. They never did. I just want my $3500 back. This whole thing has me sick.
