Phone call saying two attempts would be made to serve court papers

Someone called from (530) 203-2741 saying they were with the process service department. The message said they were notifying residents that 2 attempts would be made to serve court order documents. It told me to call 888-912-7628 with any questions and gave a case file number 26000199. It also said failing to contact them or evading service would result in further legal proceedings. The whole thing said I was notified on a monitored and recorded line. It felt like a phishing call. I did not lose any money but it seemed strange and I wanted to report it.
