Website never told me about a subscription fee

I used qr.io for a project and nowhere on the site did it say I needed to pay a subscription to actually use what I made. I ordered business cards based on their service and now I can't even use them. The fee only came up after I had already started using it.

I've seen other people say the same thing, some ordered wedding invites and now they either have to throw them out or pay up. It's pretty frustrating that this isn't mentioned upfront. Feels like a trap honestly.

Paid for QR codes that don't work and can't cancel

I paid $200 for QR codes from this website qr.io. The codes don't work at all. When I tried to cancel the subscription, there's no way to do it.

I contacted them about it and they told me I don't even have an account. I sent them proof and they still say the same thing. So I'm just out $200 with nothing to show for it.

This company is a scam and should be shut down.
