Fax invoice for wire fax services we no longer use

We got a fax from Relay Wire saying our company owed $498.85 for wire fax services. The thing is, we switched to an online fax system last October, so this invoice made us stop and think for a minute. We weren't sure if maybe there was some extra fee for the service AT&T was providing. We pay them for the line, but maybe this was a fee to convert the fax to email or something.

So we called AT&T and they told us this was not valid. The address on it was 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J in Dallas, Texas, and the email was [email protected].

Fax invoice saying we owe $498.85 for annual renewal

We got a fax sent to our fax line that was an invoice saying we owed $498.85 for an annual renewal of our fax service. It has an invoice number, invoice date, payment terms, contract ref, due date, and account number on it. It says it's an annual service renewal for year 3 and lists our fax number, qty, rate and amount.

At the bottom there's a payment stub that says to detach and return it to Relay Wire. The address on it is 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243. There's also an email [email protected].

We don't owe this. It just showed up as a fax.

Fax invoice for renewal we never signed up for

My business got an invoice through fax from Relay Wire. It says it's a routine annual renewal invoice for our existing fax infrastructure service. This is supposedly year 3 of the renewal.

The services listed are fax number routing, web portal access, searchable transmission records, encrypted transmissions, service availability monitoring, standard support, and date export functionality. Account Executive is Stephanie Wray. It says to contact [email protected] for ACH payments or send a check to 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243.

We never signed up for any of this. There is no company name on it besides Relay Wire and the website is relaywire.app/help-request. Just seems like a fake invoice trying to get us to pay.

Fax invoice for annual service renewal we never signed up for

We got a fax at our business, 419-882-8847, saying we owe $498.85 for an "Annual Service Renewal - Year 3." It had invoice #311585NH and account #RWHC402397, dated September 25, 2026. The name on it was Stephanie Wray, listed as some kind of executive.

The payment options were a check mailed to Relay Wire at 9535 Forest Lane, Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243, or ACH/wire through [email protected]. There's also a website, relaywire.app, and an email [email protected].

We have never had an account or subscription with this company. No history at all. It's just a fake invoice trying to get us to pay.

I got a fax the other day from a blocked number. It was an invoice for annual fax service for $498.85. I never signed up for any fax service with these people.

Faxed invoice asking me to pay for annual fax service

I got a faxed invoice at my office telling me I need to pay for a year of fax service. It says to pay Relay Wire. I don't remember signing up for anything like that.

Fake invoice by fax saying we owe for annual service renewal

Invoice from Relay Wire for a fax number we already pay for

Relay Wire sent us an invoice for a fax number we own. We already have a different fax provider for that number and we pay them a monthly fee. Been doing that for years.

Random fax from Relay Wire asking for $498.85

Got a random fax on 9-25-2026 from Relay Wire for $498.85. We have never had this service, never signed up for anything with them.

There was no phone number to call on it. I looked them up on google and there's no contact information, just emails. They want a check and they want your fax number and invoice number written on the check for payment.

I knew it was a scam right away. I'm not sending them my email, a check, or anything else.

Fax asking for payment for a 3 year service renewal

Fax invoice for a fax service we never ordered

Our business got an unsolicited fax invoice back on September 25, 2026 from a company calling itself Relay Wire out of Dallas, Texas. The address on it was 9535 Forest Lane, Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243.

The invoice said it was a routine annual renewal for Year 3 of fax infrastructure service on our business fax line. They wanted $498.85. It listed a bunch of stuff we never ordered, like web portal access, searchable transmission records, encrypted transmission, monitoring, support, and data export.

We never signed up with Relay Wire and we don't get any service from them. The invoice says to make checks payable to Relay Wire and mail them to the Dallas address, or email [email protected] for wire or ACH instructions. It also had a name on it, Stephanie Wray, listed as account executive with an email [email protected]. Their website is relaywire.app.

We didn't pay it. This is just a fake invoice scam going after businesses through their published fax numbers.

Fax about annual renewal for a service I never had
