Fax invoice for services I never signed up for
I have no idea who these people are or why they sent this to me. It just showed up on my machine like it was a real bill. I didn't pay them anything, but it still feels weird getting something like that out of nowhere. I just wanted to make a note of it in case this happens to anyone else.

I didn't lose any money because I'm not paying it, but it's annoying to get these fake bills. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else gets confused by it.
Invoice for fax services we never ordered
The email came from [email protected] and the address on it says 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J in Dallas. I don't know how they got our info but this is clearly a fake invoice trying to get us to pay for something that doesn't exist.

I looked into it and the website is relaywire.app/help-request/ and their address is on the paperwork, 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J in Dallas. There was also an email, [email protected]. We never signed up for anything. It's just a fake invoice trying to get us to pay for something we never used.

I didn't recognize this company at all. We never signed up for anything with them. This just showed up on our fax machine one day. It feels off.

The bill is for $469.95 and they want payment by check, wire transfer, or ACH. This is clearly a scam. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it. We didn't pay anything.

I showed it to our biller just to be sure. She looked it up and said we don't have any contract with RELAY WIRE at all. So I'm reporting it here because I don't want anyone else to fall for it. The fax had an address in Dallas on it, but that doesn't mean anything I guess.

It looks like a real corporate invoice but we never ordered any fax service from them. Our accounts payable flagged it because nobody here authorized it or signed up for anything. They claim it's for searchable archive retention and delivery proof but we don't even use that fax line anymore. Just a fake bill trying to get us to pay.

The invoice number is #INV-6623862 and it says the service period is July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. They want $389.00 by July 31, 2029. It says something about making the check payable to Relay Wire and ensuring continuous use of the fax line. Makes no sense to me because I never signed up for anything like this.
I didn't lose any money but this is obviously a fake bill. Just wanted to report it.
