Lost money to a travel agent who said they had to book the hotel.

I got a message from someone saying they were a travel agent. They told me the hotel had to be booked through them. So I went ahead and booked it.

Now my money is gone. It was $3498.09. The contact was a phone number, (888) 972-9163, and an email, [email protected]. They mentioned Google, too.

I just lost all that money. It was for a trip and now it's just gone.
