Paid $1,700 for shower work that wasn't done right

I paid this man to redo a shower for me. He had me convinced he knew what he was doing, only to find out months later that he didn't. I had an expert tiler come in to finish the job he started and was told the floor and drain were not done right. Rick also didn't seal the shower properly. If the shower had been hooked up and functional, it would have been leaking within a year or so. That would have created water damage and mold, making the whole thing even more costly.

He tells people he can do jobs and has a tendency not to finish them. I'm finding this out from others that have hired him too. He is not licensed, takes the money, and doesn't finish the work promised. I am out a total of $3,000 and $1,700 of that went to him. My shower had to be ripped out completely. Do not hire this person, Rick Fisher A.K.A Boston Rick.
