Vendor outside grocery store charged me $800 for a $16 donation

There was this street vendor outside the grocery store, they were saying they were from Rise Up Youth Foundation and raising money for youth programs. I figured why not, it seemed legit enough. I wanted to buy some food for $16.00 so I used my card with the tap and pay thing on their phone.

But when the transaction went through, it showed up on my phone as $800. I saw it right away and didn't even leave yet. I talked to the vendor and they said they would fix it and give me a refund. That was a week ago. Still no refund. I've been checking my account and nothing. I also saw other people on Reddit saying the same thing happened to them, so I know it's not just me. The website they have is riseupyouthglobal.org but I don't know if that even matters. I just want my money back.
