Email about old debt with same case file as other scam reports
So I looked them up to see if this was real and I found another person who posted about the exact same scam. Same amount, same case file number. That's when I knew for sure it was fake. I asked them to send me proof of the original creditor and where the money went but they never replied. They just said it's past the date to be released. I didn't even understand what that meant.
I'm not going to respond to them anymore. Just wanted to put this out there so other people don't fall for it.
