Dog trainer kept pushing back dates and won't refund

We signed a contract with this dog trainer for a 4 week board and train and paid $4,000 upfront. She violated the dates in the contract right away by postponing the intake of our dog. Then she had the dog for 3 weeks and wouldn't respond to communication for days on end. She returned the dog a week early and said it was for 3 days even though that's not in the contract. Then she postponed taking her back for another week.

She refused to refund the final week and said it's her policy and in the contract that she won't refund. But she violated the contract from the beginning. Our dog came back with no new knowledge except now she knows how to jump over a fence.
