Ordered roses for girlfriend's birthday and they canceled same day

I made the mistake of ordering from Ruth's Roses before reading the reviews on Trust Pilot. Every negative review is right on the mark. I ordered a bouquet of roses a week in advance of my girlfriend's birthday just to have them cancel the order the day of with an excuse of "supply chain" issues.

They charged me right away, of course, but they've failed to return my money after half a dozen calls. I've called them at (844) 799-2245 and emailed [email protected] but nothing. It's gotten to the point that I've had to file a fraud claim with my credit card company just to get a credit back. Their website is ruthsroses.com and they list an address in Alhambra, CA but who knows if that's real. These people are running a scam, so avoid at all costs.

Called a local florist but something felt off about who answered

I was looking for a local florist in Delaware, OH so I googled it. Ruth's Roses came up saying they were family owned and could do free same day delivery. Sounded good so I placed an order.

Then I tried calling back to change the message on the card and kept getting cut off. Every time someone answered it was a different person and they all sounded Asian. Not what I expected from a place that claims to be a local shop in Ohio. The number was (844) 799-2245 and their website is ruthsroses.com. I didn't lose any money but it felt strange.

Flowers NOT delivered

They delivered flowers to street of a gated community on a busy road, not to the unit number provided. Did not call the phone number provided as attempt to get in. When asked to resend or refund they claimed they needed to investigate. 4 days later many calls later they still have no answerer to where the flowers went. HORRIBLE customer service. Very disappointed.

Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day that were never delivered

I placed an order for flowers, balloons, chocolates, and a card for Valentine's Day through Ruth's Roses. The total was $141.98. The items were never delivered. When I called, they first told me the order was delivered. Then they changed it and said they made a mistake and it *was* delivered.

I called again to ask for a refund and they refused. They said it would take 48 hours. Then they said their "higher ups" were going to investigate. It's been over a week now. I called and got the same lady, but she claimed to be someone else and just repeated the same things before hanging up on me.

I called back and she acted like she didn't know anything, asked for all my information again, and then hung up on me again. They still keep reaching out to offer services, which doesn't make any sense. I just want my money back for an order I never received.
