Called wrong number trying to reach Progressive and got asked for card number
The agent asked me to verify my account info so I gave my name and date of birth. Then they asked for my 16-digit credit card number for "system verification." I told them no. They kept pushing me to give it and I just hung up.
I didn't lose any money or anything but this is clearly a phishing thing trying to get my info. The number is 800-280-8418. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it.
