Caller claiming to be Spectrum asked for my account number

I got a phone call from someone saying they were Spectrum, offering a reduced rate on my bill. I couldn’t take the call at the time, it came from (608) 783-5748. He asked how much I was paying for my streaming and internet service. When I told him, he said he could give me “half off” if I went with all three services.

Then he asked for my Spectrum account number and my name. I didn’t give him anything. Shouldn’t they already have that info if they’re really Spectrum? It didn’t make sense.

He called back again and I said I was in a meeting and couldn’t talk right now. He said “Call me at 445-456-4183 ask for Sam Adams Employee ID 216.” I never called back. The number he called from was (608) 745-1503 but he said Philadelphia, PA. Just felt off the whole time.
