Job interview on Teams asked for my bank name
One of the questions they asked was for the name of my bank. That really threw me off. No legit interviewer needs that. I did some digging and found out they were pretending to be a real company. I looked up Schafer Manufacturing and contacted their actual HR and IT people to let them know someone was using their name. I didn't lose any money, but it was a huge waste of time.
Hiring manager asked for my bank name on Signal
I did it because I really thought it was part of the hiring process. Then after we started talking on Signal they asked for my bank name. That's when I knew something was off. I deleted the email, blocked them, and deleted the Signal app right away. Sorry but I don't play that game.
