Check from North Carolina for secret shopper job
They told me I had 24 hours to deposit the check to get a $100 bonus. Then I was supposed to take $1500 out of the $1,950 and buy Sephora gift cards. After that I had to scratch off the codes and send them pictures of the cards. They said it was for the next part of my assignment.
It didn't make sense to me why a secret shopper job would need me to buy gift cards and send pictures of the codes. I didn't lose any money but I wanted to report it.
