Job offer call that cost me fifty dollars
They asked me to pay $50 upfront for something related to the job, said it was for processing or a background check. I figured it was normal since a lot of places do that now. So I paid it.
After that, nothing. No follow up, no details about the position, no replies to my emails. I called the number back a few times and it just rings or goes to voicemail. I feel dumb about it honestly. The whole thing just didn't make sense after I actually sent the money. They took fifty bucks and disappeared.
