Job offer turned into bounced checks and lost money

I applied for a job on a website and got an email back saying they liked my application. They wanted me to be their personal assistant for their non-profit, helping with donations and running errands. It sounded legit.

They sent me two checks in the mail. I deposited them and then made donations to what I thought was a children's charity they were helping. I used my own money to send those donations after the checks cleared. Well, they didn't clear. The checks bounced and now I'm stuck responsible for the $1950. The email came from [email protected] and the phone number was (903) 215-3670. I never got any of that money back.
