Facebook ad about a family of 5 and a smoke detector

I saw an ad on Facebook for a 6 in 1 smoke and gas detector from shopkovex.com. The ad had this story about a family of 5 dying because their store bought detectors didn't work right. It was really emotional and I fell for it.

I ordered the detector and paid $119.94. After that I realized the website is a scam. I should have looked into it more before buying but the story got to me.

The address just says VA, USA and the site is shopkovex.com. I'm out $119.94 and want to warn others about this.
