Woman called about my disability benefits and said we were recorded

A woman called me about my social security disability benefits. She said we were on a recorded call. She said my name and asked me to verify it again, then my phone number, and then she was getting to my address. I asked her again where she was calling from. I remembered that SS admin does not call people. I hung up.

I called the number back and a man answered. He said my name when he picked up and said we were on a recorded call. I asked if this was the social security administration and he said yes, this is about your disability benefits. I asked again, but is this the SS disability office. He said no. I asked him to put this number on his do not call list.
