I got the same call twice this morning from this number (646) 536-9618. The woman said she was from the local SSA office and had my application for Social Security (which I never applied for) and wanted me to bring my birth certificate into the local office today or by the end of this week. She didn’t ask for any of my personal information. The number she called from was the same as the post that I’m commenting on. I didn’t lose any money, but it felt off, so I checked it out online, which is where I found this information. New York, NY, is where they said they were.

Caller claimed to be from SSA about my disability application

Got a call from this number (646) 536-9618. The guy said he was from the local SSA office and had my application for disability and wanted to confirm I knew about it.
