Called about Spectrum pricing and lost $2200 on phones

A person called me saying they were from Spectrum and had new pricing for my existing service. To get that pricing, I had to buy 2 cell phones first and then cancel them. They said even if I returned the phones, I’d still get the new price. So I ordered the phones and returned them the same day.

I looked up the address on the return shipping label they gave me. It was 16 Eastwood Aven, Deer Park NY 11729. On google it shows a duplex that looks abandoned. That’s when I knew something was off. I called the number on my Spectrum account and they confirmed I got scammed.

I’m trying to contact UPS now to see if I can get the phones redirected back to me. I’m so mad I fell for this. Travis Jones ext 2006 was the first person I talked to, Andy Gibson ext 2001 was the supervisor, and Hayden White was the manager. All lies. I hope people google 1-445-456-4183 and see this so they don’t become the next victim.
