Phone call saying a claim was filed against me

I got a phone call from 254-824-8543. The man said his name was Coran Allen and that he worked for the state of Texas processing department. He told me a firm called Franco and Weiss was filing a claim against me. He gave me a file number and said I needed to call 855-656-5946 to avoid being taken to court.

After I hung up I googled the State of Texas Processing Department and it does not exist. Then I looked up the 855 number and it led me to a scam notice on Ecautious.com. I called my local sheriffs department here in Texas and they confirmed there is no state of Texas processing department and it sounded like a scam.

Hopefully this helps other people from being scammed by these crooks.
