Call about lowering my credit card processing rates

Got a call from a woman saying she was with my Merchant Services Company, the one that handles all my Point of Sales stuff. She said I was paying too high of a percentage rate on each credit card sale and that they could fix it. She wanted me to email them a monthly statement so they could adjust the rate and even refund me money for up to a year for overcharges.

She kept me on the phone while I sent the email. Said once she got the statement and a few other things she could process the refund right away. Something felt off though. The phone number was (844) 376-3800 and she wanted me to send it to [email protected]. That's not my merchant services company. I didn't give them anything else. Just hung up after I realized it didn't add up.
