Free trial for 99 cents turned into two $29.99 charges

I signed up for a free trial on a story site through Facebook for $.99 and paid with PayPal. I cancelled it within hours and got a confirmation pop up but no email. Then two charges of $29.99 showed up on my PayPal. PayPal stopped the subscription on their end but the $59.98 is still wrong and I want that money back.
