Text told me to download Telegram then someone messaged me

I got a text from this number (224) 245-6387 and they told me to download the app Telegram. So I did that and then someone started messaging me on there telling me how to make an account. They walked me through the whole thing.

Next thing I know I'm out $4000. It was all through Telegram, the website thing is https://t.me/Erin_daLiE5542. I don't even know who these people really are.

Just a warning to anyone else who gets a text like this. Don't download anything they tell you to.
