They said they were helping me set up a TikTok shop
Anyway, they told me when an item got purchased, the money would be held in an escrow account. But then they said I would have to pay for the item first and that I would get reimbursed later. That didn't make sense to me. Why would I pay for something when the buyer already paid?
I didn't end up losing any money because I stopped talking to them. But the whole thing felt off. They kept pushing me to pay and saying I'd get my money back. I just hung up and didn't do anything else with them.
