Job offer asking me to turn off my security software
They called from (628) 254-7089 and also (808) 590-6033. Then they sent me links to three different sites that were supposed to be for the work platform. The names were gummyxo.com, productgum.com, and gummyrev.com. When I tried to go on them, my computer blocked the sites. That's when the recruiter told me to temporarily disable my security software to get in.
I didn't do that. I didn't give them any sensitive info either. No money was lost on my end but this whole thing was clearly a scam. I have a PDF with all the screenshots and details if anyone needs to see it. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it.
