Booked a flight and then got an email to call them

I booked a flight on topflightrares.com and got a confirmation. Then I get an email saying I need to make a call. So I called them and they told me the flight was standby and not available. They wanted about two hundred more dollars. I went back to look at the confirmation and everything was scrambled. I lost $350 on this.
