Caller saying they were from NPE but number belongs to another company

Someone named "Rachel" called us saying she was from NPE, the National Plastics Expo. She said we hadn't finalized our registration for the event. The caller ID just showed "Private" and no phone number at all.

I wouldn't put her through to the person who handles our registration. She kept saying she needed to get in contact with them today. I asked if there was a number they could call back at and she gave me (855) 314-0665.

I looked that number up on Google and it came back to "Total Trip Planners" at totaltripplanners.com. She had specifically swore she was from NPE.
