Job offer on Indeed turned out to be a package forwarding scam
The first thing they sent me was a bronze coin, came right to my house by postal mail. I had to take pictures of it and send those back before they'd give me a shipping label to send it out again. I did this for about a month and a week, going back and forth with packages. I drove all over to pick stuff up from different places thinking I'd get paid for the gas and the work.
Then they just stopped answering. My login got shut down and I never got paid anything. Not for the packages, not for the gas, nothing. It was all a complete waste of my time and money.
Job offer wanted my license and address before I even started
Then they gave me a link to create an account for my dashboard. They said I was suppose to receive $4100 to inspect and reshoot packages. Also a $20 bonus for each package shipped out within 34 hours. The website is https://u11344.track-freightline.group/login and the phone number they used was (336) 594-6790. They also have an address in Groveport, OH and an email [email protected].
I didn't send them any money but I'm worried about giving them my license and address. Something about the whole thing didn't make sense.
