Phone call claiming I owe a payday loan

I got a call from (877) 934-9750. Guy on the phone said I owed $300 to some payday loan. Wouldn't tell me who he was with or what company the loan was even from.

I don't have a payday loan. I asked him to send me something in writing and he just kept saying I owed the money. Never got anything in the mail, no proof, nothing.

Just a number and a claim about $300. Didn't lose any money but it's annoying getting calls like this.
