Letter mentioning our bank but no company name
When I called, the operator never told me a company name. They just asked me to agree to a contract over the phone. They explained a payment plan and wanted the first month's payment. The whole time I thought I was talking to Choice Home Warranty. I paid $295.
We never heard anything else from them. Then our real contract with Choice came in the mail and it didn't match what the operator told me at all. That's when I knew it was a scam.
