Fake W-9 and past due invoice for toner we never ordered

We got a fake W-9 in the mail, and the name and number on it didn't match what the IRS has. Then there was an invoice with it that said it was past due. This week they called two of us at work, me being one, trying to collect on this debt from a blocked number.

We only get toner from the company that leases us our equipment, that's part of the contract. I told them it was a fake invoice and hung up. Right after that they called the other location, asking for an employee who has been gone for months. Way outside the time frame of when they claimed they shipped anything.

I've told all our staff this is a scam and to just block any more calls from them.
