Letter saying I owe a bill my insurance rejected

I got this letter in the mail from some company in Texas. They billed my medical insurance and the claim got rejected. The letter says since the insurance didn't pay, I'm now responsible for the whole bill.

I didn't even know they were billing them in the first place. Nobody called me or sent anything before this. Just this one letter showing up saying I owe money now.

I haven't paid anything and I'm not planning to until I understand what this is even for. It doesn't feel right.
